Weekend Escaped 2011

Location: Kem Bina Negara Alor Gajah, Melaka & Hutan Lipur Gunung Datuk, Rembau Negeri Sembilan
Date: 15-17 April 2011
This camp is intended to test the mental and physical strength of UTHM students. In addition, it is to improve our self-esteem as a leader and as one of the Malays. The new organization for Counselling and Career Club UTHM 2011/2012 are required to participate in this camp. Besides that, our new President of the Student Council Representative UTHM Mr. Hafiz Ariffin and our former YDP Mr. Shahzada also have attended this camp.

15 April 2011,
While waiting for the bus in front of the Student Affairs' Office. Opps! Do not imitate my actions during a fight with one of the staff of the Department of Counseling and Career ok. I'm sorry Encik Ahmad. hihi -.-'
At this time, we have arrived at Kem Bina Negara Alor Gajah, Malacca, and was briefed by Mr Aziz. and In the evening, we were required to gather for repelling activity.
If I'm not mistaken, this is my sixth time to this activity, since both primary and secondary school, and also during the national service training program. yes, I know the skills, but bad luck when my helmet was too big that it covered the most part of my face so I was not able to see the right views. I will never forget how I screamed "HELMET BODOH!!" when I was doing the repelling activity -.-' but yeah, I had fun and I'm sure all of the participants were had fun too :)

Next, during the night we were all taken to the Hutan Lipur Gunung Datuk, Rembau, Negeri Sembilan by bus. However, we were all required to walk from the main road into the camp-ground along with our luggage. After arrived, we had been asked to set up our own tent for each team, and so its the time to sleep: D yeayyyy!

16 April 2011,
On the next day, after breakfast;

they were all seemed to be prepared physically and mentally for the challenging climb of the Gunung Datuk with height of 870 meters or about 2900 feet above sea level.
but sadly, I was still stuck at the camp site because I have not got permission to climb the mountain due to the medical condition bla bla bla bla -.-'
hence, this ws the only activity that can be done. Boiling water! We were also strictly forbidden by the coaches to play in the area around the waterfall. So, we can only wait for other friends down from the mountain. Boring.

Right, so the next activity in the evening was ''Mencari Sesuap Nasi" where we had to go to a specific checkpoint to get food for our respective groups. In the last checkpoint, we were required to get 'ikan keli' or catfish in the pond using our own hands. Jyeah! For the very first time, I held a live catfish. waaaaahhh! impressed! :D
*no pictures, tangan masing-masing bau keli.LOL*

Next, at night, we were finally given food after a day of fasting. We also sought to undone the camps themselves and have returned to the secretariat.

Promptly at 12 am, activities that have been given the name 'Warior Game' took place. The game has many similarities with paintball but the only difference was the bullets used were just packages of coloured water and we were given 2 hours to seize the flag of the opponent, in the dark and in a very large rubber plantations area.
3 am, was night walk. It wasn't that though actually. haha. I was able to finish it in less than 5 minutes. *berlagak seyh*

Further, without a break, we all have been asked to return to the Kem Alor Gajah, Melakawithout being given any transport. What was important, we had to report there at the latest at 12pm.

17 April 2011,

So, we moved into Tampin town with which 13 miles away from the Gunung Datuk and then grabbed a taxi to get to the destination.
they were all tired and fell asleep at the the bus station of Tampin .

The fee charged for each car was 25 bucks and a total of 80 participants had to get a taxi to complete the task. Thanks to God, all of us were succeed. Thank you Allah. And thanks a lot to master minder and orang-orang yang telah banyak berkorban especially Abang Jep, Hafiz, Shah, Abang Khay dan lain-lain. Semoga Allah saja yang dapat membalas jasa-jasa kalian :)

Finally, after the closing ceremony in the camp of Alor Gajah, so we headed back to Johor. This program was actually came with a tagline "pergi bising balik diam" was proved.
Semua orang diam je dalam bus. including YDP tidur disebelah saya tak hengat. hahaha :)

from this program, many of them may face pressure from the physical, but me myself had to deal with mentally because the pressure in terms of health, had to deal with people who look down on people who are sick, and those who discriminate against women as leaders.
Barulah Malaysia hidup aman damai.

love peace, not war :)
